  1. Here's what I'm thinking. Through a smartphone app... - Check the full DCI schedule sorted by date, distance, performing corps, etc. Buy tickets through your phone - Look up scores from previous shows. Scores are updated by fans (like GasBuddy) or, alternatively, officially through DCI. Get notifications/alerts for scores as soon as they happen. Fans can comment on scores or performances, and upload pics/videos of that night's lot warmups/other media. - Optional DONATE button for a corps of your choice. Send gas money to your favorite corps of the night after a show. - Corps can also post up their entire tour itinerary for fans, friends and parents. You can see where Phantom Regiment is practicing so you can catch a practice, or volunteer for a day. - GPS capability. Here's where it gets interesting. Corps can register an official account. When they arrive at a show site, corps staff can broadcast their position on GPS. Want to know where BD's drumline is warming up? Look it up on Google Maps. Which way to see Crown's color guard? Get directions instantly.
  2. You just made me throw up into the little trash can by my desk. Thanks.
  3. There are thousands of kids, staff, volunteers, alumni, fans, and performers who would really appreciate the open class scores being posted here on DCP. I don't understand the inconsistency of this season compared to others...
  4. "Size doesn't matter! We'll be fair! Honest!" ~ DCI judges Ok. Just tell me who won gold in Open Class (or div 2/3) for the last x years and the truth should become depressingly obvious... I would love to take 40 kids from BDB, put them in Racine Scouts uniforms, and have them play a show without telling the judging panel. I bet it would be HILARIOUS.
  5. If the last few years' trend continues, look for Raiders in 4th. Yeah I said it. What's with everybody placing them 9th? And not even top 12?
  6. As I was once told, "The Raiders vs. Everyone"
  7. Somebody in the stands... Cavaliers, 2008... Finals... It's at 3:52 on the DVD... yelled out... in the most gravely, intense way possible... "LET'S GO (???)!!! TONIGHT'S THE NIGHT!!!!!!!" I was sitting maybe 5 rows in front of whoever this was. I turned around to look, and could not stop laughing.
  8. Police attention? Yeah, that sounds about right
  9. I'm a student there. Across the street from the stadium there is a student apartment complex... Do NOT park in there. Those are reserved spots for the students that are housed in the apartments. We need 'em. I will be there myself to punish those that don't comply!
  10. Just to let you guys know, West Chester University did in fact march exhibition at BOA National Finals in Indianapolis, in Lucas Oil Stadium this year. The show title was "Wanted", we closed and ended with this theme by Bon Jovi. 2 other songs were original arrangements, and we also did "Desperado" by the Eagles. Best of luck to the Troopers in the upcoming season.
  11. I'm not sure of what's typical, but I do know the Raiders have horn openings and will welcome potential players this weekend... New Jersey and northeastern folks, come on down...
  12. Here's some advice; talk about finals predictions in August. Most corps don't even have their themes announced yet... Give it a rest...
