BRASSO
WINNER!!!! Ok... so now 1 of the Finalist Corps mentioned that played " Russian Christmas Music " at DCI Finals has been correctly answered ( Cavaliers ). Who are the other 3 Corps that played this piece at World Class DCI Finals in competition ? Hint... none of the 3 others are midwest based Corps. BRASSO
Santa Clara Crossmen ? Yes, on SCV and Crossmen. I would have been stumped on the last Corps too until just recently. I was on Fan Network watching and listening to a Corps and lo and behold they began to play it. Up until then I did not know they played this at one time too. If you need a hint... its not Phantom, BD, Boston, Madison.
Michael Boo
Ken Norman ? My favorite Ken Norman story was about the two corps he sold the same arrangement to the same year, back when corps from disparate regions rarely met unless they went to Nationals. Well, as it happened, both corps took a little road trip and ended up at the same contest. Has anyone else heard that story? It supposedly happened in the 1960s. I've got a Word file of all World Class finalist repertoires. If someone would like a copy, please drop me a line.
