Northern Thunder
I will give the Rivermen a listen! Unfortunately the Rivermen musical books were written way below the level of the corps.....a bit too generic. (At least in '80 and '81.) redhowes
The montage of the corps reminds me of the joy that this subjective objective art explains itself!
Northern Thunder
82 Twighlight Zone!!! Interesting thing about that '82 Rivermen corps....they had lost many of their more experienced members from the 80 & 81 corps that made DCI top 25. Half of the '82 corps was from Minnesota, while the other half was from Louisiana. They had satellite rehearsals all winter and spring, and combined everything for the summer. redhowes
Brian! That is the truly amazing point about the beginning of this topic. How corps get together and create great shows! Blending musicians like great beers and wines!
