xandandl
Cadets at Johnstown, PA are having 79 degrees with a partly sunny/cloudy day; high humidity forecast for the remainder of the week. As Alberto moves the air on the East Coast up from Florida, each day will see some rain, some wind, sticky weather as high as 85 but cool evenings in the 60's. Tough weather can actually be a good training tool to instruct guards and others too used to the indoor luxuries before a summer of outdoor contests. (Remember the Glassmen at Allentown?) For what the corps has seen earlier and in previous seasons, these are tropical conditions for Johnstown, home of the Great Flood. As of yet no reported annual bear sightings either although fox, coyotes, and racoons lurk about. Not as bad as the snakes Crown has had and even had to threaten to charge tour fees in order to disperse them. No snow flurries this year; but there's still a week to go in Pennsylvania before shifting to Ada, Ohio.
