JeffUsnaDB
All... Congratulations to the US Air Force Academy on defending their title as Inteservice Academy D&B Champions! Here are the scores... GE Vis... USAFA 18.1.... USNA 17.8 GE Mus... USAFA 18.2... USNA 17.8 Field Vis... USAFA 17.8... USNA 18.2 Ens Vis... USAFA 18.1... USNA 17.9 Guard... USAFA 20.0... USNA 20.0 Brass... USAFA 17.8... USNA 17.4 Perc... USAFA 17.9... USNA 17.3 Ens Mus... USAFA 18.5... USNA 17.9 Totals USAFA 91.35 USNA 89.95 Both corps receive a 20.0 in Guard becuase Navy does not field a color guard. There was a guard judge on hand to evaluate USAFA's guard, and they would have received a 17.6 if both corps fielded guards. Air Force's show consisted of an opener arranged from the music to the popular video game, "Medal of Honor". From there they played Earth, Wind, & Fire's "Faces" and "In the Stone". Navy went Latin this year with the opener, "A Mis Abuelos" by Arturo Sandoval. They presented Andrea Bocelli's "Con Te Partiro" as a ballad, and closed with "Malaguena". Reviews of the shows by anyone who attended would be welcome! Next years show will be held in Colorado on the weekend of the Air Force-Navy football game. Date and time TBA. Thanks to all that attended! Jeff Weir USNA D&B Civilian Director
scadesboi
Huh, well, good job to both corps. I was thinking of the academies, but I'm going to do regular college and full DCI (Santa Clara Vanguard) then join the military. Hey, too bad Air Force couldn't keep it perfect and beat Navy in football too!!! Oh well, GO NAVY BEAT ARMY, and GO AIR FORCE BEAT WHOEVER THE #### YOU CAN!!!
