  1. I believe in South Florida pwning Auburn's secondary with an upset. I ALSO believe in my Broncos getting pwned in Husky Stadium (cuz they won't hit...gasp) <**>
  2. To answer everything, Yes right now we only have 30,000 TOTAL, but it MIGHT be big enough when the additions are complete, I'll get back to you on that... Um, as for the blue field on your shoes, no kidding. That field sticks to your shoes like none other, don't know why. As for them complaining about it being blue...they'll get over it. Everyone else has. ;) Dealing with cameras and such, it worked fine for BD 03. AND FINALLY, with you being negative and such, that's fine, doesn't really matter to me, I was going with the OP suggested and said "maybe later". I for one personally agree we won't be big enough any time soon, but who knows in a few - say - 10 years, this place is growing like CRAZY. I've lived here 8 years now and I've known of 3 to 4 new high schools going up, all sorts of expansion projects, and roadwork out the wazzoo. The metro area is actually larger than Spokane now, only behind Portland and Seattle for the largest in the Northwest. The point is, it's growin so who knows. EDIT: Btw, we don't have enough schools to stay at for a full DCI Finals. Nowhere near. :)
  3. Last time BD was here it was '03, I could see it just fine, great show here...well, we all know it was a great show, but they looked great on the blue.
  4. A Cavie proposing to a Blue Devil? daring....
  5. You beat me to it! Mods can delete mine. But I was definitely waiting for "THIS I BELIEVE!" at the end haha.
  6. Did anyone else happen to notice the University of Auburn commercial in tonight's game vs. USF? It consisted of alumni having one liners saying "I believe in [enter whatever here]." Kinda made me laugh thinking of Cadets...
  7. sigh... guess it's our curse But back on topic I wouldn't mind seeing Finals in Toronto?
  8. Right now we only have 30,000 seats in the stadium, but we are working on additions to make it much larger, around 70-80,000. So by the said date it might be big enough. And in the next ten years the city of Boise might actually be large enough with enough places to stay and stuff to do. So we'll talk about it then, because as of right now no way lol. Oh, and GO BRONCOS!
  9. Probably because really they're known as THE Academy, THE Cadets, and THE Cavaliers?
  10. Nashville, I'm feeling the need for Tennessee BBQ...and country music...I'm losing my mind.... Besides it's high time the Nipples have a finals.
  11. Philly. (But if it has to be Boston, PLEASE, another place than in 05)
  12. I vote best thing on DCP ever. Kept me and my other corps friends in stitches. LOLZ!
  13. Seattle Cascades, having been close to some members of this organization I keep hearing great things from them. One step at a time, one day at a time, that's what it's about up there. The show concept was one of the finer ideas I've seen in a few years from them and the execution was pretty darn good. Give them time there's some great talent both marching and teaching up there, they did good this year looking forward to next year.
  14. I'm sorry, those things smelled so bad! But THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! Oh, btw, we used this show called Vipers last year, did they switch back? I'm not sure if they did the Vipers were brand new.
  15. I could go for that! Can I get it to go? DVD? haha. Anyways, I want to see the top 7 or so. The corps were all so good, talk of parity!
  16. Today they wear a rubber-type sweat resistant shirt underneath the top of the bibbet, then there is a black sequin vest-like thing, then the jacket.
  17. So I'm going to try and find the time necessary to come back! I really needed to take this season to get a lot of work done. Anyways...let's see, as for Finals might I suggest the University of Illinois?
  18. oh gosh, that looks like someone i know who marched this year...
  19. Looks like it was from last year, 2006. It was REALLY rainy that off-season so before during spring camp some great volunteers went out there and filled in the dirt with gravel. Made for an interesting time during alldays training on jazz running! And our equipment truck is open and looks to be in use, so maybe it was early when we just had the brass move in a few weeks before everyone else was there. It was nice to get to know everyone who could be there, we got to gell as a group and hang out. 06 heatwise wasn't that bad but god it was COOOLLD at night! And windy, and dusty. I was taking allergy pills like none other. It's one of those places you hate while you're there but miss it when you're not honestly. EDIT: Don't remember who put up the tents but I seem to remember they were almost always up...
  20. Oh is that what happened? I was afraid he had hurt himself I too saw him putting all his weight on one foot, I was worried there, though I didn't see anyone leave the field. All the best!
