WOW, I love this one! It's not often that you see that kind of precision with the rifles in the air during a toss. Their point of rotation is nearly identical all the way across. You could just about draw a line through it!

Thanks for posting all these great photos!

Wow! The 1979 picture with the black drums, is a mind twist!

1978 started out with the black drums, I don't remember what the brands were.

The corps started out in 1978 using the Ludwig Challengers that were originally bought in Aug of 1975. I recall Ron Leaf telling me the corps borrowed the white drums at prelims from the Defenders of Rockland - thanks to the friendships between Charley Poole and John Sullivan.

From left to right.

Joanne Kneeland Silk, Jane Murphy, Jackie Derry. These could be 1973 photos as all marched both 72 and 73.

Hey Legend - the middle one looks an awful lot like LancerFi!

Are all 3 of these ladies "high maintenance?"

:P

Joanne Kneeland married 27 DM Duffy Silk. She is a total class act. No maintenance req'd.

Ann Murphy in spite of her beauty and other assets, could not hold a rifle to LancerFi. Murphy marched 72 and 73. LancerFi's dedication speaks for itself. Ann was always an ambitious woman.

Jackie Derry married french horn Steve Mac. Another great girl. No maintenance here either.
