mybugsyisblue
I was curious if anyone could enlighten me to any opportunities that exist in the fall of the year for American students to march in Japan. My daughter has been approached by a member of her current staff, about possibly marching this fall in Japan. Because she is on tour it is hard to get all of the details, so I was trying to lay the groundwork while she is away. Any info, websites, etc. would be greatly appreciated. thanks! Eddie
The Japan drum & bugle corps season runs from late fall to late winter... about. There are plenty of corps out there depending on where your daughter will be staying. http://www.dcjpn.org is the home site of Drum Coprs Japan. It's all in Japanese, but if you click "links" at the top, you'll see a list of drum corps around the country. http://www.ask-me21.co.jp/me21 is a marching arts magazine and would also be another good place to look.
