Slow Adam
Here are some of mine:1) Golden Lancers <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That was a division III corps.
robweez
I voted The Machinists. If I ever started a copy, especially in a big city, I would called it Metropolis. I think it has a cool ring to it.

Slow Adam
How about The Park and Blows? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He didn't say any of the fantasy corps were from the 70's...did he? :P
manoloblahniksabre
Nikk..."Lucyfer" here. :) I'm guessing the "Crimson Brigade" is all-female and is expected to tick erraticly at least once a month. ^0^ I personally like: The Stewie Griffins (sponsored by WEA, World Eradication Association) The Beekeepers (like the Bluecoats, the "k" will not be capitalized) The Babies on Spikes (also called "Rack of Babies") The Russian Front (not a good idea) and.... The Executive Transvestites What do you think? Some names I would consider:Cruciform Crusaders The Mutineers The Florida Keys Crimson Brigade Cavalry Command The Saracens <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Tsar Nikk
Nikk..."Lucyfer" here. :) Uh oh...is that a subtle hint? Am I going to be missing the football again this weekend? :P I'm guessing the "Crimson Brigade" is all-female and is expected to tick erraticly at least once a month. ^0^ Niiiiiiice. Heh heh. I personally like:The Beekeepers (like the Bluecoats, the "k" will not be capitalized) "Would you like some coffee? No problem." "Looks like an incredible problem mate...you're covered in BEES." The Babies on Spikes (also called "Rack of Babies") "'ello, I'm crazy Eddie....I put babies on spikes. Would you like a rack of babies. Taste like chicken." The Russian Front (not a good idea) "Hitler never played Risk when he was a kid." What do you think? I think you're the coolest chick in the world for knowing Eddie. Now...get online and relieve my boredom. This transcription is boring me! :P
Toby
Not quite, think pre Edo Japan :)Â I think it might have been during the Tokugawa era (after the civil wars)... but I can't quite remember. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> it's either divine wind or Kamikaze, take your pick :P
cymbalism
I voted for Phalanx. If my name choice wasn't on the list, I probably would've voted for Impact, because it gives a very powerful impression.
peter s
I like eccentric names. So I voted for Phalanx. "The Machinists" was a close second. "Impact" is too generic, and promises too much. I don't understand why so many voted for them. To me the coolest names, apart from notable exceptions like Phantom Regiment (suggests tradition and a mysterious past) and Mandarins (They're from a foreign land!), are the ones that actually tell you where they come from. Like The Madison Scouts, and the Santa Clara Vanguard. When they perform you think twice about your EVIL plan of invading their cities! For they shall defeat you!
