Alot of corps, will sell their entire line of horns at discounted prices and buy a whole new line the next year from their sponsors. Since most D1 corps play on Bb's now, any band can buy the same exact horns used by the DCI elite and have their kids play them. Bands are always buying new equipment, so this is an elaborate hand-me-down system. Cavies have been selling their horns almost every year since they switched to Bb's. I guess coats have caught on.
