B) Happy New Year from Gulf Coast Sound Drum and Bugle Corps from Houston, TX! 2005 was a banner year for GCS in terms of recruiting, fundraising, improvement, organization and overall achievement. We have so much to be thankful for, including our fans out there in the drum corps community. We are also very grateful to Rittenhouse Baptist Church for allowing us to use their excellent facilities to practice. This relationship will continue in 2006 and hopefully beyond. We are eagerly anticipating the new year and all the future successes we will surely achieve as an all-age musical marching entity in the Houston and South Texas area. Given the success our activity has seen in 2005 (26 competing corps in Scranton), it will be very exciting to see how much more drum corps grows and improves as an artform in 2006 and beyond. Pit_Girl_77
Yeah, what he said!!! We are organized and ready to go!!! Some of us even have music memorized for the show---in JANUARY! Can you believe that? It sounds so cool we couldn't help ourselves. If you miss the January camp on the 14th you will be missing out on a great time. Besides, when Cory gets permission from "ma" to come play he will have more fun if all his friends are there ;) Barb Wendt Govies 1996 Gulf Coast Sound 2005-2006 and beyond www.gulfcoastsound.org
