So Much Jazz, So Little Time

I'm looking for your thoughts.

They could be about the arrangement, performance or both.

Who had the better jazz chart in 1980?

BD - Ya Gotta Try

Crossmen - Jack Miraculous

Bridgemen - In the Stone

If Jack is the tune I'm thinking of with the incredible sop line lick, then that one for the chops, In the Stone for the groove, and Devs for the artistry.

Good choices all.

John Swartz

In the Stone would be considered Funk

Funk, jazz, whatever they want to call it Russ - I call In the Stone a classic, and it gets my vote!
