Blackstar
Did I miss an announcement. Is DCI going to be on TV this year or is it strictly Internet and Cinecast?

Chester
I agree.. last year was kind of a nice intro to drumcorps for the uniniated... but really seeing some full shows would be alot nicer.
Studio Tan
I expect even less marching than last year and more fluff footage of kids singing Bon Jovi songs on a bus.
akagi
I agree.. last year was kind of a nice intro to drumcorps for the uniniated... but really seeing some full shows would be alot nicer. the point of the ESPN broadcast is so DCI can reach a wider audience. They know that if existing drum corps fans want to see full shows with unaltered audio, they will buy the DVDs. DCI does not make the broadcast tape for the fans. the intro to corps, behind the scenes, and things like that would probably be more appealing to this target audience than a few hours of full corps shows. Studio Tan
But surely they can trim SOME of the human interest crap, right?

Im not even saying show all of teh corps.. Maybe just the top few on that format.. rahter than just snippits...at least the champion. Studio Tan
They shouldn't present it as if it's live, like they did last year. "Let's see if that's enough to beat Santa Clara Vanguard!" Okay.
