It seems like every important decision that has to be made around here needs to go through the finalist corps. That should have no impact. In terms of term: I agree with 1 live season and 1 off-season. Responsibilities: I'll leave that for my coleagues to decide. Election: Majority, vote with all active directors I think 2 directors per region would be more worthwhile. This is all in my opinion. If someone wants to put together a proposal for next time, it will be added to the ballot. But feel free to continue tossing around ideas.
