geddy
Unfortunately, or some reason, the concept of "returning to a corps' roots" is frowned upon by many members of this board, seen by them as being stuck in the past, failing to innovate, and not breaking new ground. :( Must. Be. Different! Like. Every. Other. Corps! Yes, lets be different and play jazz...
Piper
Sing Sing Sing..... Definately. Benny Goodman and swing would make me throw babies. Even my own. :)

Xmen89
Tank! - Cowboy Bebop This would rock, combined with "The Jazz Police" from Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band. Add a construction worker, an Indian and the "biker" iron cross motif, and... voila! .... Village People jazz.
Orpheus
I'm still thinkin' that progressive rock would be the way to go for this corps. Maybe? :D
kbmartin
Theme "Back on the Block" - Quincy Jones's stuff never sounded better than when Crossmen played "Birdland" practically verbatim off the album. Provocative juxtaposition of double entendres; fabulous music. If the brass can handle it ;-) In this day of narration and vocals, the rap that precedes Birdland could enliven and set up a show. Somebuddy should look at the ballad that Sarah V sings on that album -- very instrumental. Kathy Martin
