How very true. At first I was voting performance, then I realized that I've read the same thing so many times - paraphrasing here: I am the person I am today because of what I learned in drum corps OR I learned in drum corps that anything is possible OR I was taught determination, overcoming adversity, being a team player and on and on and on.

So, I had to go with "education" - and I don't mean in the reading music way! But that's great too!!

You have to be good already to get into a top corps,but they do take your talent and mold it.

I must add that drum corps did develop all my bad habits(partying,etc.) to a point I never imagined possible. I would'nt trade it for anything, by far the greatest time of my whole life!!!!!
