LancerFi
Eitherway you're going to get equally as much out of it coming out of the tunnel finals night... How very true. At first I was voting performance, then I realized that I've read the same thing so many times - paraphrasing here: I am the person I am today because of what I learned in drum corps OR I learned in drum corps that anything is possible OR I was taught determination, overcoming adversity, being a team player and on and on and on. So, I had to go with "education" - and I don't mean in the reading music way! But that's great too!! ChicagoFan
Agreed, Nancy. I think many of the lessons learned in drum corps are those intangibles that you mentioned and, in that respect, it is certainly an educational experience. zarblap
You have to be good already to get into a top corps, but they do take your talent and mold it. I must add that drum corps did develop all my bad habits(partying, etc.) to a point I never imagined possible. I would'nt trade it for anything, by far the greatest time of my whole life!!!!!
