JimF-LowBari Posted March 27, 2007 Share Posted March 27, 2007 (edited) Waaaay back in 1976, Westshoremen hosted a spring concert at Cumberland Valley High School at Mechanicsburg, PA. Groups were Cumberland Valley Jazz Band, Westshoremen and the Yankee Rebels. And that was ALL that performed. Concert was hosted by a local radio personality whos' daughter later joined the corps. (Too bad I lost the cassette of that evening.) Can't remember if it was called Serenade In Brass that first time but that was the start. Fast forward to 2007 and there is two days worth of "stuff" going on in downtown Harrisburg. Mini Corps contest in the afternoon, Serenade In Brass and after show party that evening and PADCHOF breakfast Sunday morning. Soooo, with less than three weeks to go who is going to what events that weekend in my hometown? And does anyone know if Charlie Schiavone(sp!!) will be selling? I'll be at everything except maybe the party. Look for the short #### with glasses and goatee wearing Lancer stuff.
