MikeN
- Spirit's show seems to be a *lot* of fun. I can't vouch for performance quality - it was the first show after all - but that ballad is my current favorite of all D1 corps. - The Cadets have a great show going on behind the narration. You just can't hear most of it for the talking. And I'm even okay with voice, as long as it compliments the total show package. Right now, it's too much. - Crown. Yowza. What a great total show - brass, pit, battery = spot on. And I like the ending, then tag song - nice effect. - I'm not sure *what* to make of the Cavaliers quite yet. The show is okay, but it feels flat right now - the highs aren't very high and the lows aren't very low. Might just be a performance issue that fixes itself as the summer goes on. - The Bluecoats have a great show, with some rockin' grooves thrown in. A lot of the show felt like the '96 BD "Club Blue" program, though, to me. Maybe I'm just getting old now. :) - Glassmen - very strong classical program. Strong is the operative word here - while no section just blows you away, no section makes you scratch your head, either. Solid across the board, and they *sound* like a Finalist. So, there you go.
