McDuffy
I'm glad you said "three of the best", 'cuz I'd have Hy Dreitzer and Sandra Opie (Argonne Rebels) on my list along with GR. Sandy did not arrange the brass charts :) McD
G-horns
Sandy did not arrange the brass charts :) McD Okay, didn't know that. So, was it you? They were outstanding for the time.
sunriseruk
Gordon's focus was Sopranos. Rick South focused on Baris. Ah, so my hunch was wrong then. thanks anyway for clarifying it for me Chris.
randomnoise
Ah, so my hunch was wrong then. thanks anyway for clarifying it for me Chris. No prob. Also, even though we each had a focus section (except for Salzman - he abused everyone equally with love and respect), we all had an influence on the other sections. McDuffy
Okay, didn't know that. So, was it you? They were outstanding for the time. It was not McD. They sure were. Rephrase: Sandra Opie = great technician - She was not an arranger.

jkyeag
Okay, didn't know that. So, was it you? They were outstanding for the time. Hy Drietzer arranged some stuff for us in the mid-60s. Generally it was Kenny Norman, Truman Crawford, and Doug Dennisen in the early 70s. Frank Minear arranged the Kenton charts for us in 1973 as he traveled with Kenton's band. Jeff Yeager Argonne '67 - '74 Kingsmen Alumni Corps '
