tesmusic
I've contacted people within the PR organization and am awaiting a response, but does anyone know the original keys of "Amazing Grace" and "Fire of Eternal Glory(Novorossyisk Chimes)" were in when played on G bugles. I am not asking what the concert key transcription would be, but the actual key of the bugle score/parts? Thank you to anyone that can help. year1buick
I played both at retreat a gazillion times (we played Fire during retreat for a while in 94) but I just don't remember. I've got the euphonium parts squirreled away in a box somewhere back home in my parent's attic but I probably won't be back there for a few months. Sorry! Tad_MMA
"Glory" was in the key of C. I have perfect pitch, and that was a gimme. 14 contrabasses in the back of the wedge still send that last note (of the fff) right through my groin. I was asking for the bugle key.
