Anyone else see the weird green and red lights in the sky during crossmen?

I thought the hornline was very powerful with the large hits, and the fast notes at the end were very good. The drill, though, I was not impressed. As far as guard and percussion, the muffler/ earth plate feature was cool, and I liked the trampolines. It definitely could have used more of a story with it, though. Overall, it wasn't bad. It should be a lot better by finals, of course. So I'll see how it grows to there.

What world class corps has had rookie drum majors often? I really love Carolina Crown, and I play tuba, but I would love to go straight to Drum Major with them (if I'm even good enough) in the future.

So we all know that MS was in favor of the new law that permits all brass. I have been hearing things about Madison Scouts trombone auditions. Does this mean they will be any marching with them? Or just them auditioning for Bari on a trombone?

Not a HUGE fan of the Colts, but i do love Wizard of Oz and Pink Floyd. I also love thething with the album lining up with the movie, so I'm sure I will love this show! Very Excited.

So I'm in the market for a new tuba mouthpiece. I don't want to spend insane amounts of $ on it, but I want it to be of decent quality. What would you recommend? I play on a Bach 18 right now, but I feel like It restricts my range. I was thinking about getting a Helleberg, but I've heard that there are better mouthpieces out there. I don't have any way to try them out, so what is your personal recommendation for all around use?

I love how uniform the uniforms from 2012 looked. I liked the uniforms from this year, but they looked sloppy. And is it just me, or was Crown's horn line better in 2012 than 2013?

Is Crown going to use the same uniforms from last year this season? Or are they going back to the regular white-ish ones that they'be used typically? I don't see how the uniforms from last year would look good with a show un-like e=mc2. But that's just my opinion.
