As part of the Cavaliers 60th Anniversary, a banquet was held on Aug 3 in honor of Don Warren. Bill Howard of the Madison Scouts gave a speech and presented to Don a painting by Madison Alumnus Jeff Koehn (madalumni on this forum) depicting the history of the Cavaliers. It was simply beautiful. Maybe he will post a pic somewhere.

Any chance someone has a pic of this art work?? Would love to see it!

I've seen some of the works he's created of the Madison Scouts. He does a great job! I'd love to see the painting he made for the Cavaliers - who knows, maybe the corps will sell prints??

I'm sure Jeff's painting is amazing -- as are all his works, IMO.. but I doubt the corps will put the image up for sale since it wasn't given to the corps -- it was a gift to Don Warren for his retirement. It belongs to the Old Man -- maybe he'd just like to cherish it for a while? :)

Thanks for the props guys! Here is a copy

of the painting.

I borrowed the title of their 91 show

"Cavalier Anthems" for the title of the painting.

There are several references to their history and traditions throughout the

painting. See if you can spot them....

Love it Jeff, and I'm not even an FMM! I like each of the champion guard costumes, and the clear reference to the planets in the background.

Jeff, is that you shaking Jeff Fiedler's hand?
