Bill Howard of the Madison Scouts gave a speech and presented to Don a painting by Madison Alumnus Jeff Koehn (madalumni on this forum) depicting the history of the Cavaliers. It was simply beautiful. Maybe he will post a pic somewhere. Quote

ScribeToo Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 I'm sure Jeff's painting is amazing -- as are all his works, IMO.. but I doubt the corps will put the image up for sale since it wasn't given to the corps -- it was a gift to Don Warren for his retirement. It belongs to the Old Man -- maybe he'd just like to cherish it for a while? :) Stef Quote

I borrowed the title of their 91 show "Cavalier Anthems" for the title of the painting. There are several references to their history and traditions throughout the painting.
