Wasn't Hardy's daughter the DM around that time?

[OT] Brain Cramp: What was the name of Yankee Rebels' concert number in '69/'70? The one featuring Bob Gaff... (I don't think CorpsReps is correct) Thanks, [/OT]
-
It also happened outdoors at Albany in '86 (I have video proof!)

As long as my name doesn't come up, I'm cool with it... Heh...

If that doesn't summarize "The Skyliners", I don't know what would! (Grin) That's why hundreds of thousands of us fans are still fans!

*I* liked it! It was cool to hear something different/unexpected - and you guys did it justice, IMO... -

That's part of the reason I picked it - it was different, plus it rocked! -
DCA "Not the little North East Circuit Anymore"
Diceman replied to 2B or not 2B's topic in DCA - All-Age Corps Discussions
DCA also had 12 corps in Finals in '72 and '73. Then they went back to 10 starting in '75 - until the famous RI Matadors controversy in '86 when they allowed the 11th place corps into Finals due to their CG score. (Aside: I bet the Oakland Crusaders wished the same gift had been given them at '77 DCI (won Prelims in Drums, scored 13th overall! IMO, DCI got it right in '77; DCA bowed to Political Pressure in '86.) Anyway: Then (not counting '87 when Finals was rained out) they went back to Top 10 until having 12 in '92. In '93 they had 13 (that was everyone in Prelims - who says DCA isn't All-Inclusive!?) Then they went back to Top 10 again - but in '97 they also added a Class A Finals to the mix. Since then, it's been Top 10 Open and Top 2-4 Class A (depending on the year) on Finals night... (I think I have this right) -

Thanks, Jim! But I can't take much of the credit; it was based on Jeff's article in the "History of Drum and Bugle Corps Vol II" book... -
I doubt it - he said all but one letter appears in the actual corps' name...
-
I don't think he's referring to a NYS corps - I also don't think he's right... If WHITE RATS is an anagram: "The Warts", no... "Waitters", no... Heh...

#2 was also very instrumental (pardon THAT pun) in getting the G-F bugle approved for national competition...

WOOHOOO!!! Glad you're doing well, my friend...

And wasn't he also a Sop with Interstatesmen?
-
#2 also spent a year as DM of the Brigs...

Yep, we're at 48 here, going to 32 tonight as well - and no insulation... Brrr...

Frank Ponzo posted on Facebook 1/2 hour ago that Duke Cornwell passed away... (Sigh)

I might be able to play that in about 10-15 minutes...
-
I spent the day setting up a new laptop (the old one died a couple days before Christmas). Anyway, glad you enjoyed!

Ditto... (Sigh)

Being 1500 miles away IS my pardon... Heh.. Happy Birthday, honey!
