  10. I had heard that Jackson got fired from Vanguard. I thought his approach and style were amazing. Not only did he keep the laid back SCV vibe/groove but thought his writing was as good as Casella's (actually I liked it better). Word round the campfire is they are trying to fetch Murray Gussack again. Any truth to these rumors? anyone??
  11. Watching John Rochon wobbling drunk trying to conduct Malaguena and playing the entire battery book on drumset for the first time. That concert Sunday night was in-freaking-credible. One of my best memories. Thanks Clint!!!

  13. One of the best drum books ever. That 3rd movement was unbelievable.
  14. Dennis, you're killing me.Shunts for more vibe!!!????
  15. While I love the sound of the SCV Pearls ,we seemed to get great response from our Dynasty's this year, and thier support is first class( Al Murray flew out to see us twice this tour). It did help having Scott Johnson around too ,as I know next to nothing about tuning a snare .
  16. aaaaaaah .... Suncoast Sound '85 . the first bassline i can remember being featured that way and teriffic clarity and smoothness player to player .
