WHEN did I say I didn't support the Cascades? I've been to all their shows, donated money to them, even bought a soprano at an outrageous cost from them at silent auction a few years ago. Now, I'm hoping they reform as well. I'm just stating that I'm worried that the PNW corps may shrivel and die if we don't have a "world class" corps up here.

Inactive = folded, my friend (who isn't marching THIS year! grrrr!) Even if you call it "folded for a year". Usually, a year off results in fiascos like the Troopers, or Valley Fever. From top of the class, to struggling just to put a corps on the road.

I mean, it came as a shock to ME. And I only just found out about it. I guess they only had 20 people show up for camp this year. I hope the O.C. can keep up some good Northwest corps status forever....

I DID say that I was facing backfield, and that it was a snap turn, right? I didn't even know he was there! Just "CLANG!" and a judge is down.

In 83, during our Superman opener, There a soft part of the corps facing backfield, then a snap turn for a push. I clouted a judge with my french horn at one of the shows. Knocked him flat. As I marched away, I asked if he was okay.

Too hard to put that on a parade sign. Especially the part...
