  1. One corps I did not see mentioned here was the Oshkosh Warriors. They were always on the verge but just couldn't turn the corner. They had some entertaining shows and in there early years won the 1969 World Open B Class.
  2. You buy a package of starburts and Troopers come to mind.
  3. I feel I need to apoligize to all who marched in 1975 whether it be Scout, BD, SCV, Muchacho or even Greece Cadet. My statement was arrogant, selfish and classless. It's amazing that one tool can cause all this commotion. 1975 was a great year for many corps and I so truly enjoyed being a part of it.
  4. This is for Muchacho. One of my favorite corps of that era were the Muchachos. I also think you have said what you believe to be true, but I have to tell you this. After the end of the 1974 season there is only one corps that could have beaten the Madison Scouts at DCI in 1975 and that was the Madison Scouts PERIOD END OF SENTENCE.
  5. For you young'ns that don't know that avatar it is Sen. joseph McCarthy and he has the sheets to prove it.
  6. The judges forgot their clipboards also no gun shot tell them when to start and stop. Why the corps are having this big huge yard sale at the front of the field.
  7. Let's see my Olds Ultratone, valve rotary, was given to me by the director of a corps called the "Marauders from Oshkosh" which folded in the late seventies or early eighties. I also have a Holton Colegiate single valve soprano that I actually found in some bushes a couple years ago. It's in pretty rough shape.
  8. It truly was wasn't it especially the drum solo with disco dance.
  9. Does anyone know if there is a recording of the first show the Scouts played in 1976? If so can I get a copy.
  10. "1975 Butler Invitational" I think that was the shows name, minds going.
