  1. Last summer, I wore the New Balance 854. I have flat feet, but with (or even without) my arch supports, these shoes were by far the best shoes I've ever worn. They have a "roll bar", which basically means it's impossible to twist your ankle, which is something I had been worrying about. The amount of support these things gave me was incredible, and they held up pretty well too. I've worn them every day since I bought them in April, and I'll probably buy another pair when these die. I definitely recommend them to anyone who has low arches and is worried about their feet on tour.
  2. I wore mine until it broke off. It lasted about a month. I still have it sitting on my shelf next to my bed.
  3. Wow! These are great! Keep 'em coming if you know of any more!
  4. The thing about that is I don't have that kind of money, especially since I'll only be using about half a minute of it in the presentation. If I had the money, I'd definitely buy that. It looks really interesting. I was just hoping that someone might have a small clip I can use.
  5. I'm doing a research project at Towson University on the evolution of Drum Corps (focusing on competitive junior corps) and I really want to have some old videos in my presentation. The earliest I've been able to find is 1978. Does anyone here have any videos that are older, and that I can use in my presentation? Thanks for your help. Brendan
  6. Ha, I did that with my high school shows too. We had terrible tempo issues. And by that, I mean the whole show was at about 110 bpm. I used Audacity to cut up the songs and put them at the right speed. It sounded so much better. I also raised the pitch a little bit to make it sound in tune, since the recordings were from ACCs in Scranton (we were on the TOB circuit).
  7. No, I really want to march. I'll suck it up and get used to it.
  8. Really? I've been trying to move my feet to music starting on the left foot, and I always find myself back on the right foot. I don't know how it happens... I just magically find myself out of step. I guess it'll be easier once I get into an environment where I'll be with an ensemble and I'm actually marching.
  9. My high school band marches on the right foot because my director is obsessed with the Cadets, and it's the most obnoxious thing ever. Now I'm going to college, and I have to completely reteach myself how to march.
  10. (my first post) I'll be there. I'll probably be wearing my green Cavies shirt. This'll be my first DCI show!
