As a Columbus Crew Soccer fan, I am naturally against setting foot in that stadium. Unless it's to watch The Crew beat up on tfc.

Congrats Alliance. At this rate you'll probably win DCA in 2 or 3 years. I remembered marching in 05 with the Brigs and seeing a few Alliance members. At that time you were just a few members. Now your a Top 12 Corps on DCA.... . Your Hornline was strong...I loved your show. Even though the Bucs won DCA, Alliance is the talk of DCA. You make me want to go and march with you guys next year .

This whole argument is redundant. The Bucs show was quality, and they deserved to win. However if The Bucs would have made DCI finals or not is like arguing "my daddy can beat up your daddy". I just dont see the Bucs making the top 15 in DCI. There were feet issues in the Bucs that would have been deductions in DCI. There were some spacing issues that would have been deductions in DCI. AGAIN AS I HAVE SAID BEFORE IN DCA THE BUCS SHOW WAS AMAZING. However by DCI Standards, there show would not have made top 15...maybe 17-20, but not top 15.

Yes because by DCI STANDARDS the Bucs show was slow, and there GE was weak, by DCI STANDARDS. Don't be offended, like I have already said The Bucs deserved to win. However to sit there and say they would have made the DCI finals, is ridiculous. There GE was slow, compared to DCI Standards. The Bucs had waaaaay to many standstills. Now according to DCA Standards they are great. There music book was somewhat weak, being that most DCI Corps are doing minimalist books. I honestly believe that The Troopers 2009 DCI Finals Show would have easily beaten The Bucs.

O.K. so based on your "experience" you are telling me that The Bucs show was better than Phantom? Better than the Blue Knights? Troopers? Glassmen? Bluecoats? Caveliers? All of these Corps were in Finals in DCI 09, and I can honestly tell you there Drill was cleaner than the Bucs. But hey I'm just a humble corps Alum from 1 top five Junior Corps, 1 top 10 Junior Corps, and 1 top 5 Senior Corps. I dont have your "experience", however I do know what mistakes in drill and music both look and sound like. They did not perform a 99 show, and they would not have made finals in DCI. Yes I do realise that my opinion is subjective, but it is my opinion based on my "experience".

O.K. first of all the drill was way to dirty for DCI Finals standards. I dont believe the hornline was clean enough for DCI Finals standards, plus the Guards drill was not complicated enought for DCI Finals standards. Look I know your a Bucs fan and I believed that the Bucs deserved to win, however there score was inflated. Plus there DCA Finals show would not have made the top 15 at DCI Finals.

I will buy 2 copies of the finals DVD and Finals CD. This thread was FRIGGIN AMAZING. Again I cant thank you guys enough, this was simply an amazing thread. I mean tell me the last time there were over 700 people on a single DCP Thread at one time?

I've said it once and I'll say it again. This is the GREATEST THREAD IN DCP HISTORY!!! This thread will only benefit DCA.

WOW O.K. where to start. First of all I can honestly say this has been the greatest thread in DCP history. My friends were keeping track of the show online and getting to see parts of the different corps shows....EPIC. Second of all Congrats to the Govies, great show, and strong. Third of all Congrats to Alliance. Wow you guys have set the bar high, cant wait to see you guys next year. Fourth Congrats to The Bucs, great show. Now for the controversy. I loved the Bucs show, however I loved Minnesota Brass even more. Even though I loved MBI they did not deserve to win, the Bucs deserved the win. And yes everyone stepped up there game tonight, however (this is where the controversy comes in) the Bucs score was, in my opinion a little inflated. Actually it was way inflated. From what I saw, there was more than just .75 points in deduction during the show. I thought the Bucs should have scored a mid 98, but definitely not a 99. I know that there are people out there who will want to make sure that I am up to date on my meds, however I think the score is inflated. Thats just my opinion. And yes even though I have had a few adult beverages, that can only explain my "much more gooder grammar" not what I believe to be inflated scores.

How about cross breeding rabbits and rattlesnakes so that you can make a new breed of Venom Biting Easter Bunnies. Some people on this forum should be ashamed of themselves. I for one am a supporter of the Marion Cadets, and for anyone to belittle this corps and not call them World Class is ridiculous. This corps has a wonderful and rich history. It's really sad when you have a corps trying to restart and do something good, that someone out there feels it imperative to beat them down. I had a friend whose daughter marched Marion in 20004 and she had a wonderful time. I am cheering for Marion and anyone who feels that they should'nt be successfull really needs to question what they feel Drum Coprs should be. The more corps we have the better.

First of all lets get one thing straight here. Both Sid and Marty Kroff are our Drum Majors, plus this years opener for the Pantsmen is a wonderful piece called The Great Space Coaster. Sorry Blousemen don't hate the player hate the game.

First of all as the Official Head Assistant,Vice, 2nd chair President of the Pantsmen. We do wear pants, however we like to take our pants off during the show because it elongates the drill . Something the Blousemen know nothing about. Plus we do not lower ourselves to reporting such false blasphemous rumors as the Blousemen have already done. That being said, we have it on good authority that the Blousemen were caught in a puppy molesting ring. This is not a lie, however it is an overexaggoration of the truth to better serve the Pantsmen. On another note we at the Pantsmen never make silly promises or gimmicks to recruit perspective members. That being said at every Pantsmen camp and show we will have FREE GUINNESS DRAFT , along with burning the ceremonius blouse. Mdempsey It would be the Pantsmens honor to have you in our fold. It is a requirement that you do have a Vodka habit to join our corps. If you did not have that habit....well...what use are you to us. However if we catch you coming to camp sober...or playing in competitions sober, then you will be expelled from the corps. Please realize we set our standards high at the Pantsmen and have no time for sobriety. . As for the blousemen, I will not lower myself to such childish name calling.
