  1. okay, like everyone else on here, def deisel. and my library on campus reminds me of some bathrooms // gyms on tour - that old musty smell. and since im a guard gal, that new uniform smell. i dont know how to describe it, but its def recognizable. hahaha
  2. when your bus driver drives around 4 am looking for coffee.... when the bus driver hits something.... wet sneakers. even your extra pair of sneakers are wet too. i think thats the WORST. EVER. <**>
  3. haha like someone said before.. some of the weapons were paired up with the lady sops. what an experience! hahaha it was still fun though! :)
  4. Personally, I had to give this a lot of thought as well. I get the extra year, which I am really happy about, but at the same time, I would have to do grade school that fall. I know it will be way too much for me to handle because of money. (I live in the Philadelphia area and I want to go to grad school in Boston) Earlier this year, I had my mind set on not marching my age out. As of right now, I do not intend on following through with my plans. I want to march my age out because it's a once in a life time chance. You never get that back. I would look into what type of plan you will be going into - I think that will help sway your choice a lot. For me, I can get my Master's in one year if I am a full time student. I am willing to give up a year to work and then go to school just to march my age out. Also, talk to your parents. Even if you do not want to! It was hard for me, but my mom understands and she is behind me! Hope all works out! :)
  5. oh geez.. I was waiting for this picture to get on here. Yeah... Thats Me in the picture. Fun Fun.
  6. I marched with my sister in high school in the guard. It was really rough in the beginning because I tried to make it super hard for her, because I felt she was taking over my activity. I was a senior, and the captain and I wanted her to quit so bad, because we usually faught at home, and now that I was seeing her even more I thought it would be so much worse. As the year went on, it got a lot better, and I was really happy that she got to march with me. This year I'll be marching my third year of corps, and this will be her first. I can't say how excited I am for her to be able to do this! Of course there will be some little things that will go between me and her, but I am truely psyched. :)
  7. You know it!!! hahaha. definately not, but thanks for the complement ;)
  8. I think the best thing to do is come with a positive attitude. Be ready to learn, work hard and have fun! =o)
  9. oh how did i know that you were going to say that??!! haha :P us guard girls are pretty hot!! :diva:
  10. I think that a lot of people are under estimating a lot of corps. Plus, it is January right now, and so much could change from now until August. I mean there is 6 months. Think of all the change that could happen within a week! Just my two cents! :)
