As we all know there is a lot of factors in recruitment. I feel that show design effects older more seasoned people then it does kids who just dont know any better and think the activity can be fun. I feel that choosing the right show will make or break you. If you throw something together without a whole concept in mind then I believe you will lose people. However, all this being said I will say that some shows have more of a draw then others. For example if your a huge West Side Story fan and a group is doing West Side, then you might be drawn because it is a show you have always wanted to do. Or on the opposite, if you are in a group that makes a show choice like Jazz but you really hate playing jazz, you are more likely to say hey maybe I will take the summer off. So in relation to does it effect recruitment, yes, but it is not the only factor.

First let me start by saying using phrases like I don't know when your trying to convince people your not old is probably not a good angle. The bond between Cru and Fusion is something that truly shows why Drum Corps is such a special activity. I think membership in both organizations will always have that lasting moment. The best to Fusion in 2009 looking forward to many summers carrying on our friendship.

Actually it was fetus then I came out of the womb and joined Ajax. As far as my driving, hey the government trust me to drive all kinds of vehicles, as well as play with weapons. Just remember I am your tax dollars hard at work, especially on camp weekends. Join the CRUsade!!!!!

I second that, we need more Tubas. For those of you that don't know our book is a VERY Tuba friendly book. This season is going to be something special. JOIN THE CRUSADE!!!!

As everyone that reads these can tell Crusaders had an awsome weekend. As a member of the Tuba line all I can say is this year is going to be awsome. I am stoked that we had 8 as well. Of course can you ever really have to many tubas on the field? The Banquet was incredible. However, The banquet got me excited for the next day to see where we would be. If anyone is thinking of becoming a Crusader, don't wait come check us out. Even if your not sure come check us out. Our next camp is Jan 5 & 6. This year is going to be even more special then last year. Join the CRUsade!!!
