Ooooh, I loved SkyRiders. Too bad Memphis Sound didn't change their name to that and bring them back! Wouldn't THAT have been cool!!

I agree. It is getting harder and harder to run a drum corps these days. Economy sucks and fundraising is tough...esp for the little drum corps!

Wow, "BlueCavie"...sounds like somebody hit a nerve? Real sorry to hear about the hard times. Wasn't he with the corps in 2006? What have you all been doing the last 4 yrs to ensure the corps was in good finances shape? I feel bad for the kids this season...hope they can pull it out. I'll donate what I can

...well, I guess this is for the best...it's always sad to see drum corps fold but hopefully, they'll get it all figured out and come back re-organized all the wiser...hopefully, there are lessons learned here.

...been hearing that they've got a lot to "sort out" and it may take some time...hope they can get it all straightened out before November!

What is Div II/III? I don't understand why we're even discussing this... It's a different level of drum corps but it's still drum corps...I am glad to see that Div II/III is growing and becoming more recognized however...I'm also just glad to see any drum corps that can come back from being inactive or folded in Div II/III...that just seems harder when youre smaller and get less recognition.

Maybe Star of Indiana will make the move to Kansas City...I can still hear Curt Gowdy when he introduced them as the "Kansas City Star"!!
