This is probably the first step which needs to be taken. Getting some, and I do say some North East Corps to make the trek south or west. THis will allow the Southern and Western corps to go head to head at least once and give them a show in Mid August...

Here is hoping UAlbany (summer home to the Superbowl Champion NY Giants) gets off of thier behinds and builds the Football Stadium they have been speaking about for a couple of years. Albany, NY would be a perfect host City and the UAlbany campus would be a perfect location for the show. tons of parking and plenty of venues for I&E. Many local hotels and a ton of places to eat. Just a thought for the future (although school will be in session - there goes that idea)

I had the opportunity to hang with the Renegades all Labor Day weekend last year from Friday rehearsal, to Prelims and finals in the Huge 15 person "A" section, straight through to Mondy Morning trying to go to sleep and eat breakfast at the same time. It was the most fun I have ever had at DCA. I was unable to spend the entire weekend with the Renegades this year due to other committments but I did hang with them Saturday afternoon and I was one of the "Pit Crew" moving the pit equiptment at prelims. The Renegades are my West Coast Drum Corps Family.

I can't wait til the Renegades get in town. so I can see all of my West Coast Buddies
