  1. Im trying to drag my friend joey hes been marching Jr corps since 2000 and has to take a year off due to money, He lives in Burlington mass and has been marching Citations since 2000 I lived with him during the 2007 season hes a great guy and plays bari/Euph. Im calling him tonight to see if i can drag him along on Sunday.
  2. That would be cool. Im ready to strap on a drum again!
  3. I play brass i play percussion, ive marched DCI and aged out prior to electronics, BUT my main instrument is bass guitar, and if i could still march, i think id think about auditioning on it. I love Drum Corps and i love my bass i think personally until i hear it i cant make a judgement.
  4. any contras? id love to have a contra to play! or shall i say Kontra
  5. Dirigo Alliance, we were based out of the Waterville Alfond center also known as the Boys and Girls Club. We played on black drums Yamaha field corps and SFzs i was with the group in its infancy played for a bit and then helped out with teaching the drum line when Chris couldnt be there all the time to watch us. had a great instructor that actually went to Atlantic Guardian where i soon followed via Jim Alberty, which is still a great influence to this day on me. I wouldn't have gone on to march if it wasn't for him. Dirigo went too big too fast. We were told wed be putting out a div 1 sized unit the first year. The call for corps in maine is low. I only know a handful of people in this day and age that have marched or are currently marching. I still have the original Members manual and Drum handbook in a file at home. If i can get around to scanning it, ill Post it. I also have atlantic Guardians as well. Great kids i marched with some have gone on to march great places. Apparently it just wasn't the time for drum corps to return to maine. Alumni corps anyone?
  6. may be interested in the valve rotor contra. My birthday is tommorrow if i can Ok it with the woman i may be interested.
