Hi there, I'm from Thailand and I will go to Japan this October. Seem like there is Drum Corps competition in Tokyo in that month. I saw poster but can't read it. Anyone can tell me where is the competition venue? Thanks!!

I'm from Thailand and can assure you that we have many many drum corps activities here. Especially Indonesia and Thailand.

And Cavies use 72 brass members this year!! really!!?? with Yamaha 201MS Convertable Tuba!!??

May be jazz,I'm not sure.We like the devs a lot here. One more question,why many corps change back to baritone? euphonium have darker and larger sound,isn't it? Who knows their reason for changing back again? p.s.I love all your answers here. better than marching band forum in Thai.so sad :(

Are there anyone know how BD,Cavies,SCV,Cadets or Phantom arrange their brass line? (How many trumpet,mello,bari,eupho,tuba?) Thanks

Only with sound factor ... Which brand will you choose if you want "bright" sound? Which brand will you choose if you want "dark" sound? I combine both Yamaha and Dynasty because I love dark sound of the Devils' mello and baritone line(may be euphonium). I choose Xeno baecause I can't deny it's quality!! Yamaha tuba because 5/4 dynasty may be too heavy for Thai students. That's how come this combination. What do you think? Thank you

So,I want to know how many trumpets,mello,bari and tuba should be in 64 members drum corps. How many in Blue Devils or Cavaliers? and what do you think about this combination? 24 Yamaha Xeno Trumpets 12 Dynasty Mellophones 16 Dynasty Euphoniums 12 Yamaha 202MS Tuba If you can design your own line with great amount of budget,how do you arrange your line?
