When I was playing I could never get the "TaKa" or "TiKi" of double but I could do "KiTi". I think it's just a mental thing - I am kinda mental sometimes. But I did grow up with cats saying kittykittykitty.

Thank You Barry!!! I was getting confused. I almost went to GP for rehearsal last weekend just hoping against hope that that was the day. 11 DAYS!!!

I did see that b**bs I think only our close friends and family understand- but even they don't get it enough to watch us again and again! I think you have to be part of it to love it like we do. Come to the next MCL camp on Feb. 18th at 10 to see why we love whatever it is we do! Be warned: if you show up empty handed, you will probably be playing a horn before lunch... Isn't that right guys :sshh:

ahh, jeez. thanks! It changes colors through out the year (without the help of a bottle). During the summer it's reddish brown and in the winter it gets a bit darker brown. I've not dyed it since I was 17 and had a really bad experience!

Thanks to Sally, I learned how to post pics today! Well, I never had the opportunity to march DCI, but I would've had I known about it. I learned about this activity just this past year right after I turned 23. Bummer!!! I am now a marching/spinning member of the DCA Corps Music City Legend. I hope that lets me qualify, but even if it doesn't, I hope ya enjoy my pics! This is me at almost 2 chillin' at the pool side...I always new I was a babe :P This was during my sophomore year at McGavock. This is my senior year on a bus trip goin' God knows where but I was havin fun! And finally this is me last summer lovin' on my hubby

I don't think it matters if it's home done or professionally done. Your still putting the recorded music up for people to download. It's not the recording that is illegal, it's the sharing of copyrighted music without the owner's permission.

The only other thing I can think of, would be that your left wrist may not be turned over enough causing a different angle in the stick making your stroke different enough to cause friction. but again I'm not a drummer so that may sound stupid.
