  1. True. But bright vibrant colors like white, blue, green, red, etc. provide more "eye catching" drill, especially more than bland colors like black, grey, etc.
  2. $400 til the end of January. Plus $200 is given back to your DCI corps' tour fee in the summer of 2007. So in reality, it's only $200 to march in the freelancers if you pay before the end of January, or $300 if you pay after. Spots available are: 1-2 tenors 3-4 mallets 1-2 aux. percussion 1 drumset 1 bass guitarist 1-2 synth players etc. (be creative? give us what you think will provide a good sound) The show is going to be awesome this year, will be announced offically next week.
  3. Tour fee is only $500. Guaranteed the lowest in Independent World.
  4. The drumline is pretty much set! We are looking for one or two more tenor players though. The pit is also looking for more mallets, a bassist, auxilary percussion, synth players, etc. Rehearsals are held every sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Freelancer hall in Sacramento. Go to www.freelancers.org for more info.!!! I hope to see you there.

  6. Ok nevermind. Seems all people care about is the top 4. right on....
  7. I think BDB is switching to a camp corps during the winter months. Then a more intense summer schedule. This will obviously allow many more people from out of state. Which means more people in the corps......
  8. I'd have to disagree.... Vinnie is god to all....
  9. Exactly. It took about 20 years for the Blue Devils to establish all three corps.....

That way we can each do a caption and have it take half as long.---
  17. We (BDB drums) definitly had two off-nights in both Modesto and Bakersfield. I think we let the heat get to us, since we're used to a nice nor-cal beeze. At least I was hating the sun.....No vis. rehearsal at bakersfield, we got off the bus, played for an hour. Then got changed for the show. So after not running the show for almost two days because of learning new material, there were alot of ticks....alot. But we should be back on step by precision west. And those shows were definitly not a waste
  18. Thanks for the comment! Wish us luck in Bakersfield!
  19. BDB did origional last year (and this year) and I believe there was a corps before us fo sho.
