So my husband talks me into volunteering on tour and so we get to spend more time with each other. We go to shows together and what does he do? He sits reading DCP stuff throughout the show! He used to say it sort of sucked going to shows alone when he went on tour and now that he's got me here with him, he's not even paying attention. :) so I figured I'd put a post on here so hed talk to me and maybe this will count as communication. Lol! I call DCP his "porn". Husbands!!! Hahah! Love you husband!

While people say that Crown "stacked" the vote and got the Chopsaver award unfairly, it is possible that ANY corps could "stack" the voting. Any corps fan could tell their friends to vote and staff should be able to vote without feeling bad...it's called Pride in their hard work. I'm pretty sure corp members and staff are pretty busy at competition night so their top priority is probably not voting. Crown fans love Crown!! They deserve the recognition and earned it just like any other corps could have. I think they prove they earn it. On a side note if you check out recaps, typically when they won the award, they were 1st or 2nd in that particular caption that night. Yay....Good for Crown!

My vote goes to Crown. They have melodies and not just phrases of chord progressions with drumming in between. Their show is completely entertaining to the most hard core fans and the new drum corp crowds. Maybe I'm partial, but they have won 4 Hot Chops which is fan based. If only the fans could have a portion of the vote in finals :P
