well first things first....stepping off with your right foot is a must, right=right left=wrong :P can that go in the guide to universal marching? -
Cadets 1934-2002, 2007- Cavaliers!!! And i really like the Blue Devils the last two season....very bad ### Boston was better when they had black crossbelts Crossmen has nice uniforms. Madison 05 was sweet! SCV 03, 04ish was the coolest never did get much into the Bluecoats uniform....this year i thought they were slick looking, but then again they just looked like everyone else. Never liked Crowns or Blue Knights....and Phantom's uniform is toooo baggy for me, but maybe its because its all white it has that effect I might say all in all though the Cavaliers have my favorite

def. a cool story -
I dont know...I just clap and applaud for every show. Not because I feel I have to, but just because I do. And for the shows that are extremely good that make you go "OMG!" then I clap louder, maybe clap longer, and probably stand and hollar a little bit. So that way the corps that just threw down a performance know the difference between an applaus, and the audience giving it to them. But I dont golf clap for everyone....I just make sure to clap and applause.

Non winning championship shows

OMG!!! I completely agree with you!! I thought i was the only one who thought this in our corps. Everyone would always argue with me that the Cadets should've won in 2003, and my argument is always their show design was horrible that year. And in the grand scheme of judging, 40% of your score is G.E....and that show had no story or theme throughout. I always stated they might have been arguably the cleanest corps that year (with strong competition of the Blue Devils) but their show design was maybe 13th place at best. finally someone that isnt biased about when talking about 2003! b**bs -

Cadets 2000 - We Are the Future

ok, normally I never agree with GMichael, but he isnt arguing whether Cadets 2000 had a louder crown reaction than Crown 2007. He is saying it IS NOT your argument because you WERE NOT there....period. you sound very naive and immature when you debate and state things to people who were ACTUALLY there. you are like an annoying little sibling that always has to be correct, whether you know what you're talking about or not. And its even more annoying here, because you have NEVER marched. its like you lack the ability to have common sense in a social enviornment. I am sure you're going to respond to this with your usual "how am I this when clearly ______" and "these are just my opinions" and "because I havent marched my opinion doesnt mean less" and "Im an annoying 19 yr old who doesnt know when to shut up" and etc. -
I also am confused how the Blue Devils did so well in the Visual G.E. department. I wont deny that they march and executed at high levels, although they did have some obvious dirt, but there were a few other visual packages that were much more appealing, well written, and demanding. The Cadets was the obvious....but SCV?? they were dirty so I agree they dont win visual G.E., but that was a great package. I think Phantom and Bluecoats both also had better drill than BD. IMO BD was cleaner than all the latter sans Cadets, but its a shame how (as someone pointed out) a maxed out less demand show equals a better score than highly executed high velocity drill. I really hope thats not always going to be the case, because I would hate for drum corps to take the easy approach to designing their shows if thats how you want to win.

well...this just happened to be a season with a lot of really strong hornlines and the thread OP is asking your favorite. Although I will agree their hornline was a very good hornline this year and much improved from the previous years. Although I didnt think their hornline in 2006 was all that bad, it just happened to be showcased in a show design that was well....a little 'off'. But I've seen a few warmup videos from them recently, and like d@mn, they sound pretty good!

Favorite Features of 07
thePerfectbuzz replied to Phantom&Phitch's topic in DCI World Class Corps Discussions
im really going to agree with your last one! The guard feature (if you consider it a feature) where they are doing silent work and no tempo was going on (well musically anyways, not sure if anyone was counting...not that it would take away the fact) was quite amazing and shockingly clean. A very cool effect and use of the narration coming before it. This show really is quickly becoming my favorite show of the season. -
am i missing something? someone please fill me in and elaborate on this
