I wish I knew more of their history so I could appreciate the nuance in the show this year. I know it's there... I just don't get it.

Effing hell... their design is just so set apart from anything else. I'm not 100% sold on it yet, but there's no denying that there's nothing else like them on the field. EFF.

SCV's show this year is the perfect blend of old and new drum corps in my opinion. It's like 2016 Bloo met 1998 Cadets.

Every single one of Vanguard's moments seem to come out of nowhere. How this show isn't a point ahead of BD remains beyond my comprehension.

I'm about fresh out of open minds to come at this show with. Members, please continue to push this show to it's max potential, despite old misers like me who just don't get it. IMO, you all deserve so much more. Regardless, make this a summer for the ages.

Well... looks like BAC took that humble pie Cadets' were preparing for me and shoved it down the garbage disposal.

Maybe. It's just not a concept/design that I find exciting or moving in any way. The members seem to be getting behind it and performing, so great for them. My indifference lies solely at the feet of the design team.

Will have to agree to disagree at this point regarding their show. I'm really hoping a live viewing at DCI East will change my perspective, but I just cannot get into it.

Looks like Cadets are prepping me up some humble pie. Did not see them overtaking Boston again this summer, but it looks to be a solid possibility now. Whether that holds throughout the next couple weeks remains to be seen, but I may be taking a few bites here shortly. I still prefer just about every aspect of Boston's show over Cadets', but I'm glad to see them keeping things interesting.

BD plays to the sheets better than anyone. The past few years, they've also been crazy entertaining to me. This year, I'm just not feeling it.

I like seeing BD stretch their legs with something different like white props and mirrors.

They have no reason not to be.

Thankfully, BD's about to go on. ... oh, wait.

You're doing drum corps wrong then. This show is the best of the year.

Am I nuts, or does Boston's use of singing/vocals work the best of all the corps this year?
