  1. Looking for 1 quarterfinal ticket... Closer to the 50 the better of course.. Send me e-mail at parker.ty@gmail.com if you have one.. Thanks,
  2. Patsy and the Bongfiglio family have been a great part of my life and now my daughter's life through drum corps. I will always remember her kindness and the good nature she seemed to have with everyone she met. She was a very dear lady indeed. Thank you Patsy and all the Bonfiglio and Lancer extended family. 4. SCV I wouldn't count them out at all. I think they are where they need to be and climbing right back into things. They made needed changes and although I'd like to see everyone start with more complete shows, there are various reasons why this happens and I think designers plan on making needed modifications moving throughout the season or face issues later in the season. On top of that, my daughter who marches in the guard reported that they spent 2-3 days of rained out rehearsals going into the Illinois show against Cavies and Bluecoats and they still didn't get blown out. Of course, I'm a bit biased, but I'm looking for some consistent upward movement with SCV and for them to take their share of the regionals and a good run at the title. The show was impressive in the first couple of viewings I had before they left for tour. I think the scores are showing the judging community responding positively to the changes and a 1.5 - 2.0 points of growth is truely possible this early in the season. I'm looking forward to seeing the results of the changes. Go Vanguard!
  5. From the Stockton show, I'd pick SCV - they really have some great charts and excercises including great displays of tempo and dynamic control as an ensemble. but I did enjoy BD's integration of some of their movement that they do with the snares when they are working the front pit concert toms. Check it out.... if you haven't seen their show, you wonder what the hell they are doing with all that movement, but makes sense when you see it with the corps. Haven't seen any of the other corps, I'll have to wait until they make the swing out west...
  6. Mandarins scored a 78.7 last night and Southwinds last score was a 76 I think if they beat them twice in head to head + progressed what else can be considered?
  7. I would have to totally agree with that. DCI needs to take a look at this one !! <**>
  8. Hate that this is my first post, but regarding the color of the blood, read this http://www.seps.org/oracle/oracle.archive/...5180.24280.html
