  1. Congrats!! Your hard work paid off. 3 year Cavies Volunteer
  2. Pics are up from the mishap this season with the Cavies rental truck...thought you all might get a chuckle out of this. http://www.cavaliers.org/cgi-bin/photos.pl...amp;archive=771
  3. I was on tour with Cavies for 5 weeks this summer. Every audience reacted wonderfully throughout the show for the various effects. There was always applause, laughter and awestruck "wow"s and standing ovations at the end. Either everyone who watched this show and enjoyed it was wrong or you are.....guess which one I think it is...??
  4. Is that really necessary? From all the shows I've seen them at everyone was going nuts for the show. :P
  5. YEEEHAWWWW!!!! And this without the new ending in place!!! I love my boys in Green :P I leave tomorrow to join them for 2 weeks on tour - this is going to be fun!!!
  6. New ending will be in at Cookeville, TN show. It was supposed to be in for tonite but for some reason wasn't ready...?
  7. If you happen to be one of the few females on tour with an all male Corps, you can expect: 1.To have your shower interrupted by a member who thought "we were told we could use both shower rooms"! Luckily, I was still dressed - the kid would have been traumatized for life! 2. To have your time in the bathroom interrupted by a decidedly pair of male legs coming into the stall next to you and using the facilities with his feet facing the wall. In general - you will laugh like you have never laughed at the antics on tour - learn that you can make it through a day without a shower - forget what it's like to eat in a chair at a table - thank God every night for the AeroBed company!
  8. Since my involvement in Drum Corps came by way of Guard, I have to give props to Shannon Berkstresser who taught me almost everything I know about Guard. I never marched Corps. I was a Guard Director who got involved in Corps after listening to some of the kids sit around and tell stories about their experiences. This will be my 3rd year as a volunteer with Cavies and I have to say that Bruno Zuccala has been a great person to observe and talk to. I have learned so much from watching the way he and Jeff work with the Corps and during the Winter season when I had drama with my guard, Bruno was there on the phone to listen and give advice. His dedication to the activity and the Corps is amazing.
  9. I agree - I would have been more convinced, but I saw first hand how they treated the American Flag they used in the show as they drug it through the tunnel leaving one of the stadiums (I'm thinking it was Indy or San Antonio). :(
