  3. heavy metal chics ok here they are. they both marched in 02 and 03. 2 came back in 04 for the.....show we do not talk about! =P one lives in cali, one in florida, one is out in indiana for school...and the other is somewhere in the nj/ny area for school i think.
  4. hey mike, im still interested. and let me know if u want any help w/ the drumline at your new school Trev
  5. So I, as probably everyone on this thread, have friends that have no idea what drum corps, or competitive marching is what so ever. Some of them even make fun of me for it. spending countless hours and money, teaching, marching, going to shows, or whatever. but its ok, im used to it. i was thinkin of showin some of my friends a dci vid. so i gues my question is, what is the perfect show, to impress somoene, that doesnt want to be impressed. i was thinkin something by BD. they perform their ###'s off, running around, beatin the #### outta the drums, in ur face hornline. my friend suggested something w/ recognizable music, like crown. no offense to crown..but i dont think bohemiam rhapsody, or sara mclaughin is going to impress my drunk friends. so sound off. what would be the perfect show for this?
  6. maybe some rookies that might of gone to crossmen will go to surf now, but i doubt any crossmen vets will march surf. some may go to cadets, but not too many. a few of my crossmen friends that ive talked to said they will prolly go check out the texas camps and make a decision from there.
  7. wurd. id like to meet everyone who's interested. who is this cadet guy that lives on delmarva? i swear these ppl are hiding in the woodwork
  8. id love to go, but ill be in reading, rehearsing 2006's show. but, keep me informed. i definatly want to be a part of this.
  9. either columbia or wilmington. both are the same distance. but if i drive to wilmington, maybe ill just drive a lil farther to king of prussia. not sure, where is everyone else going?
  10. Ok, while everyone is advertizing thier concerts and what not, id like to take this opportunity to personally invite everyone to the Reading Buccaneers Spring Preview. detials are on the website ReadingBuccaneers.org and while everyone is posting their myspaces. mine is myspace
  11. hmm ya, mandarins anyyear cascades 2000 and 2001 magic 2002 cap reg 2002 revolution 2002 blue stars 2001 raiders 2001 surf 2000 and 2003 spartans 2004 oregon crusaders 2004 well, i marched 00-04, so i cant think of any other shows outside that box
  12. ya, i def want to do something on the peninsula. i cant go to the serenade thing. but i def want to meet up.
  13. what do u think has been one of divII/III loudest shows at finals that past few years?
  14. thanks guys. im tryin to update my itunes w/ the correct names. i think cadets have changed their name the most. heh, and they are supposed to be the most traditional corps
  15. i know it was recently, but what year did magic of orlando change their name to The Magic?
  16. well, im from salisbury, so id vote for tia's. but thats just cuz i dont have a car right now. hopefully in a few short weeks ill have one again. but if i can get a ride to easton or wherever, ill do it. wknds are no good for me. im marching dca, so im busy w/ that. as far as the thing in harrisburg goes. what is that exactly, i havent heard of it.
  17. so is everyone serious about this? whats the next step? someone mentioned that we all meet somwhere.
  18. hmm, no idea. im seriously suprised there are this many corps ppl around here, i thought for sure the activity was dead. i know back in the miid 90's, there were 4 or 5 hs'ers that marched surf. one was the girl center snare, from like 94 or 95. so i know the activity used to thrive in this area. well, meaning there were more ppl involved. not that there were any drum corps here.
  19. hmm.. im suprised there are this many corps ppl too. hurlock is pretty close. your right, its out in the sticks! who's this drum instructor u speek of from delmar?
