  1. Thank you Jim! I remember chatting with you. I hope you are well!
  2. It's been years since I have been on this forum but a friend told me about this post. It is an honor to be inducted into the Maryland Drum and Bugle Corps Hall of Fame. I loved my time with the Yankee Rebels and I will always be grateful to them for believing in me as a player. I am very nervous because I never expected this but I will enjoy the honor.
  3. Now that I am retired and no longer march, they shorten the darn thing!
  4. His last name always reminds me of the author of Catcher in the Rye. Sounds similar.
  5. Thank you, Nanci. Happy Birthday, Ed. My Christmas Eve birthday buddy!
  6. Thank you, Jeff. I don't pop in as much as I used to. I'm going through some personal stuff. Robbie
  7. The lady on the right is still with the Yankee Rebels, I believe.
  8. Technically, a border state. However, most Marylanders have a more southern way of thinking.
  9. Farted on the dance floor?? I'm surprised you could hear it or..........was it the scent that gave it away?
  10. Yes, it was when we were already on the field and Bob gets flustered when things get hectic. We always got that warning from DCA to keep the show on schedule and I think we always have, at least with Rebels. We (Rebels) were always just a warm-up, fill-in act anyway although we always got a great reception from the audience.
  11. Must have been a miscommunication somewhere. Perhaps Bob thought at the last minute that he would try to tough it out? I didn't get that impression afterwards and I just remember him hurting really bad. I'm going to ask him tonight. Our Guess Who was a really nice man who was always pleasant at least to me. His last name sounds a bit like "Southern".
  12. Guess Who is sitting down # 316 ? I remember this picture. I believe it was from Syracuse in 2000 and my husband and I were with the corps at that time. My husband had just had major surgery and it was one of his first gigs back but he had a hard time standing for any length of time. (still does. uses a lounge lizard stool with Rebels)He asked if he could have a chair on the field and the director said, "of course!" Anyway, they bring out the chair and our Guess Who ended up sitting in it. I don't know if they forgot about Bob but boy was he hurting afterwards.
  13. I was just going to ask..........who is the corps? Lots of names being thrown around.
  14. Love you too, Donny! (but you already know that). I love how they become so trusting and secure after you take them in. They ask for nothing but love and food. When we watch TV or read the newspaper in the evenings, all 5 are sitting somewhere in the room with us, just relaxing.
  15. Love ya, Nanci! We do our part but I wish we could take them all in.
  16. Nanci, 3 have been abandoned in front of my house, 1 from the shelter and 1 from my husband's workplace. We can't say no and we love taking care of them. I am sure there will be more. And, they do sleep with us, bless their little hearts!
  17. Nice pix, nice house! I love the kitties. I have 5 of my own.
  18. I must admit it doesn't look like Bobby, at least not the way I remember him. I know his hair isn't dark anymore but he really looks different. I think the last time I saw him was about 2 years ago and I remember thinking then that he really had changed.
