I have a 3-valve Dynasty soprano bugle in excellent condition and, because I don't play high brass, am looking to sell it. I was wondering... how much do such horns go for?

Looks like a horse to me... my friend has one (a horse) so I've seen enough of 'em... they do look weird when they lie down like that.

Oldguard, that was very well written and a pleasure to read! I also agree with Malambo13, to put it simply.

This was an interesting year for Div. II... exciting and fun. I would like to say that both Academy and ECJ had good shows: both were entertaining and both corps worked hard. Congrats to ECJ for the noticably smaller margin of points between you and Academy at Finals... impressive. I know the kids at ECJ are good people... I know many of them. If anyone has lost respect for the corps due to a few members, that is very unfortunate. Also, Josh-- it was very respectful of you to post another statement. I don't know many people who would do that. I also had believed that ECJ won the Focus show overall, but of course they had not faced Academy head-on, which is why I wasn't going to think further on it. So do know you're not the only one who had had that thought. :) Anyway... interesting thread. Second ECJ vs. other corps discussion post-finals in two years... last year it was the whole "Who really won" thing (silver vs. gold medalist discussion)... and no, I'm not trying to rehash that... I already know.

I was quite impressed with the I&E pieces I was fortunate enough to watch this year; OC and SCV's bass lines were among my favorites, along with a few front ensemble performances and the trumpet solo by James Covington... I was quite impressed with the playing with one finger. B)
