  1. I really feel that it is a decision of that corp. I can say that it is an enormous undertaking in more ways than just putting the show on the field. The logistics of moving a corp around is in itself a big job. You also have to consider that the members are doing this on the side and can not commit the way young members can. All I can say is that the corps that decides to take on this endevor must decide what they wish to accomplish. With that answer - they can tell you if it is to be a once in a lifetime or an ongoing adventure. To that I say - Good Luck and be sure to enjoy the ride - This is one Alumn who's ride ended WAY to soon.
  2. I am beyond proud to be compared to this years Madison Scouts. But lets face it - the current Scouts can play circles around us old timers. They move and play things that I cant even imagine. There is NO comparison - they are a much stronger and more talented corps than we were. We hit a cord with the crowd that they liked - but the fact is - the current Scouts blow us away. Im glad everyone liked our show so much Thank you all
  3. Marc, I dont think you could have summed it up any better. I really dont know how to even begin to discribe the feelings and thoughts of what has happened. I am still in a euphoric state, and dont expect my feet to touch the ground for some time yet. All of this bliss is fed by the wonderful feedback from the fans. I really dont know what else to tell anyone, except that the love and pride of marching with my hero's, my friends, and my brothers transends anything and everything that I have ever felt. Thank you. Plateheads - Spiff, Chone, Glenn, Geddy, Hometown, E and Calvin... ...long live the Texas brotherhood. And to all my other brothers - current Madison Scouts, Project Alumni and Missing Alumni... ...The fire now burns brighter and hotter then I ever imagined.
