There is no maybe about it dci is taking upon themselves to do this is for their own bottom line. Why was it so easy for BD to open their private server to the public? How many, concerts & music festivals where the original artists play their music start off with a statement distrusting their fans and they lie to them as dci does. " to protect the original artists your not allowed to take video clips" (of your own children). It's not the original artist they already came to terms with the internet and gave permission for the corps to play & stream. Show after show they lie to us and laugh all the way to the bank. Call me a fool, stupid or ignorant whatever you want but dci is turning out to be one big lie.

they are the ones that create the video feeds/blurays. thats why they are policing So it is not the original artists but the profitability of dci. They are not required by the original artists to police YT. DCI has DCP confused why didn't anyone step in and take down Kids Grove Scouts 2018 Les Miz final performance from yesterday? Because DCE does not police the net and still offers media. If someone posted 2018 Bloo it would have been taken down, you're the devil, what's the difference? How come the Rose Bowl Band Fest showed up on YT within hours. Why does BFDTV on YT need to dance around dci corps as long as it's not live? The Plymouth or York alumni shows are there on YT. You could go on and on why can Bands and Corps that show up at Disney stay on YT for years. The mummers, BOD Bands? The people running dci are using state of the art sniffers to stamp this out on the net. BD has fixed the pay down the road issue for their MMs by posting their shows for free, dci is not sniffing that out, would they dare question the wisdom of BD, good for them. Dci spent little time on Health & Saftey until their hand was forced. Dci's real motives are coming to light every day indicating where their real priorities are and it's not standing by the MMs. So 6 years from now a member of the 2018 Calgary Stampeders can for free share their Sound Sport experience with their children on YT. But outside of BD dci keeps their hand in the MMs pockets for life. What a hoot.

I don't think that can be substantiated, it is like saying bar owners need to police their customers. Making sure they are not describing accounts of the game w/o expressed written consent of the Commissioner. How could dci be in violation of anything if they already sought out a license to stream the stuff in the first place? It's dci and it has nothing to do with the original artists they know the internet is out there. Dci themselves had archives on the fan network and a free month now & then where were the original artists then? We are a long way from Metallica v. Napster even they have come around in and found a marketing value on the internet. Our corps overseas in the EU now have a draconian new law. Shuts down everything, post a photo with a corps shirt on FB and you owe a stipend to the corps. Sing happy birthday over the net costs you. Place a video clip of yourself at the bar and if there is music playing in the background you must pay. Hi BRASSO having a good day, KC Won so I am in a good mood. The good news is well, first of all, let us refer to music as visual arts since most music is that way today. Being for "instructional purposes" lessens rights issues on the net since it benefits all students or else homeschooling would not exist. That is a good thing. "MM's are not professional, For-Profit, Musicians" but there is a lot of profit to be made from their work. It's dci that does not want their stuff on YT for their own profit. So there are many profits in there but the folks playing the music have no say and no profit. "MM's in DCI do not play any " music " at all in their performances either." Then dci has nothing to worry about what are they taking down from YT? The point is dci complaining to us that the artists made them cut this and that and the BluRays are incomplete. Then do the same thing to the MM who may want to watch a show 6 years down the road with their kid and has to buy a copy. Seems to me dci has all the internet skills they need to track this metadata down on the net. Is that an evil use of the net like using it to check backgrounds? It's the pot calling the kettle black. Dci is keeping it off YT not the original artists and they are doing it for profit or maybe not but they think so. 5

I have been made aware that FLO is now stepping in on DCI's behalf and are taking shows/vids off of YT. There are so many moving parts what 3 or 4 licenses. Rights to fielding the music a theatrical license for the theater, a streaming license for FLO and media rights for BluRay & CD. Most of the time DCI/FLO is asking permission from the artists. What I don't understand what does FLO or DCI have to do with policing the internet, they are not the original rights holders of any of the music? It's the MMs music they paid and played the show but can't have their hard work displayed on YT while most other music is readily available. At this point, dci is no better than the rights holders holding back the music for their own profit. It would be interesting to have a thread reviewing the MM contracts to see what they may be forfeiting, it's their music, not the booking agents.

According to legal zoom and other online resources the majority of the time it means the defendant wants to save legal fees and is going to plead out. I know nothing about the law but don't always believe what lawyers have to say either. It could be posturing on their part still saying that or outdated comments not knowing what George was going to do (afford).

Yea my dad after moving to South Jersey became a big Eagles fan. I stayed with The Giants who's season tickets are still held by fans who passed away a long time ago. I then became a JETS, JETS, JETS season ticket holder. I will say your not the only poster on DCP that spent time with George. Not only time but donated large sums of money to The Cadets then they went on tour and did their part. They became disillusioned way before last April and found another corps to support. From the bits in pieces from their posts it seems they formed a different opinion of George way before all this came to light.

I hear you but if The Chiefs lose today it means nothing to the Folks in KC. The 1st football game my grandfather took me to in the Polo Grounds was NY Giants vs LA Rams in the 50's. The Giants coach was Ally Sherman assistants Tom Landry & Vince Lombardi. Please don't look at me as part of the Ole Alumni, althought I did go from the Little Falls Cadets to the Garfield Cadets along with the Little Falls Color Guard when they first allowed women in Garfield (it was a good looking guard). I was drafted after a few pratices so I never marched with Garfield. Maybe I am part of the Ole Alumni in a way.

What mentality towards Geogre would be acceptable? What is the puropse of your posts? How are you measuring success? The situation has escalated to criminal charges. The Ole Alumni Defense is not cutting it because he is being accused of actions too far back to think that could be a reason. He may be tried in a court of law and be judged by 12 of his peers. What do you want from DCP none of us would quailfy for the jury? The activity we love is in deep doo doo how can one man be more important than that?

Here I go with my stupid timelines. GH did what he is accused of way before the Ole Alumni Defense moved from Philly to KC. He had the ball and went on the offense first. When accused he found god and caught a bad case of PTSD but he left out a P. In his case he has PPTSD (post post) or Pre Post because and I am not wishing this but the real trauma may be in his future.
