Empire and MBI's tubas got in to a flipping contest....This was after the "Whos got the more difficult horn to march" discussion. I still maintain that even though Empires horns are heavier, they are better balanced!

Update from the Busses! Just passed through Erie area. AC on the new bus froze up for a bit. Stared leaking on us inside unfun. Other than that ride is going smoothly. Currently watching Zoolander. 2 hours to hotel!

I've got an update from the Brand spankin new bus! I managed to tether my BB to my laptop and now have internet access! Although it is at dial up speed. Somehow we managed to get a brand new bus, literally 2 hours old when we loaded her up. Still has her temporary 30 day tag. Leather seats, drop down LCD's and best of all WORKING AC!!! About half of us are watching the breakfast club currently, the other half is sleeping. So far a good bus ride!! Jon

It's a matter or execution. At MBI's level it is more difficult for us to execute more cleanly than the last show, thus our score doesn't go up as much. Kilties have more room to improve and there-fore can execute much better than the last show. Nothing against the Kilties, love what you guys are doing. MBI had an awesome show last night, and we hope for an even better one tomorrow.

Depnds on if its a G horn or a Bb horn....It's always up for debate, me I call it a contra just because it's my personal preference.

Great sound. Just noticed they have a trumpet player that's gotta be 6'7". He towers over his neighbors!

Ya know to tell you the truth I didn't pay much attention last year, but what I did hear it was interesting but not my cup of tea. I'd have to watch a video. Taps is playing again now. Gorgeous low brass sound.

Great drum break, big hornline hit, huge chords. Love this music.

Nice warm sound coming from the hornline. I like the music. This is probably the best bluestars hornline I've heard. Really loud, well balanced.

Blue stars are now setting up for their encore, might be a bit.

Alright, since you asked ill comment on Bluestars encore. I loved their hornline.

More body work from the hornline during drum break, lots of poses. Dissiapation drill, hornline is in sections playing chords. This show really teases your ears. Play some, stop playing, play more. Sweet lick from the high brass there.

Tubas just spun sequentially off a yard line, looked like fun. Very nice pleasing sound from the hornline, well balanced not over powering. Big hit here, very balanced sound on the push. Not loud but very good.

Some cool body work going on in between musical phrases here and there. Awesome tuba lick soli. Tuba collision! No ones hurt looks like. Very close quarters tuba pass through gone wrong
