  1. Thanks for the nice review! I feel much, much, much better this year than last year!
  2. A soprano played our kit solo too.... no one ever asked anyone in the pit if they could play.... oh well....
  3. It looks like we will all have to run and attack Mark now........ *sigh* ^0^ B)
  4. Thanks, I already do a lot of that, I like the metronome idea though- definitly something to try. Mostly I am concerned with bass particulars- although you can never practice too much..... MUST DRUM...... AGHHHHHH....! :) Calvin
  5. I wear my WS shirt more than anything else in my dresser. :) B) Yeah thats right.... Im a drum corps nut..... MUST... DRUM...AGHHHHHH!!!!! b**bs
  6. Thanks to the mods for getting rid of that jerks post. Oh..... I cant wait, I cant wait, I cant wait! :)
  7. I cant wait, I cant wait, I cant wait, I cant wait, I cant wait, I cant wait, I cant wait, I cant wait, I cant wait, I cant wait, I cant wait, I cant wait, Oh ... and did I mention that I cant wait? :D B) -Calvin
  8. Hey everyone, I am going to try to get a spot on my Bass line after being pit for a year and cymbal for a year. I did some filling in for bass drummers last season during the winter and I felt pretty good, I wasnt too overwhelmed. I do want to brush up on my technique though. Basically I am looking for a site or something that gives me good tips on bass technique, espicially stuff on playing fast. Thanks! Calvin
  9. I dont have one but one of the other drumline guys has a Troopers tat on his ankle.
  10. Something like that. There are a lot of factors, like how leniant the state troopers are that day ^0^ :) (DISCLAMER: I highly dissagree with speeding, you should never, ever, speed!) :) B)
  11. You forgot one. The White Sabers! Were just south of Rochester, definitly less distance than Kingston. We are a competative A-class group. Its a great place for someone to ease into drum corps. We are a close group, everyone is like family. We have great staff members, and we know how to have fun!
  12. Sorry man, I didnt mean to steal them, I am just using them for my own personal use as a souvanier. Btw if you dont want people to print off pics then block the right click feature like Jolesch does. The only reason I want to take a screenshot instead of just print them by right clicking is that I like to tweak pics for the best possible lighting. EDIT: Thanks for the pic! Hmmm.... our heads arnt facing the same direction... I like the site, its a nice place for good pics.
  13. Tell me about it! I am gettin chills just thinking about it. Brrrrrrr...... Unfortuanitly after scouring Jolesch for pics I only found 1 cymbal line picture, and to make matters worse it was during prelims. I also saw the slideshow at corpsreps, there are some nice drumline pics, all you have to do is take a screenshot. No good cymbal pics though....
