  1. I CANNOT wait to see the bucs show this year. Ive heard great stuff from the camps! Keep it going guys!! MISS YOU ALL!!!---See ya at the PREVIEW! :) Abel
  2. I first was introduced to drumcorps in a parade that my high school was involved with. I went to Reading High School, in Reading, PA and the Reading Buccaneers were in a parade back in 1995. A year later, the brass caption came to our school and introduced himself and invited us to go out. Our band director, Glen Brumbach was a member of the bucs 83/84 and was involved through the years on staff. Two of us decided to go out and ended up marching in 96. and the rest is history :) Eleven years later I have met many new friends and had many great experiences
  3. Cool show!!! Bernstein is one of my more favorite composers. Looking forward to seeing it!!
  4. Its just all based on personal preference. I dont believe that ALL DCA fans prefer just jazz. I know there is a strong contigent that prever classical, some prefer contemporary(which includes a little of both), and others prefer the old school park and bark jazz. I personally prefer classical/contemporary vs jazz charts that have been done over and over and over again. I dont think you can make everyone happy, but I know for a fact the crowds have been eating up the classical shows even at locations were they prefer the jazz park and barks. I think people are being ENTERTAINED both ways. It is also attracting many more people to DCA as well.
  5. And dont forgot Bucs 2000..in the end of that show where the bass drummers where running circles around the mellophone players while playing that wicked lick!!
