  2. No, do you have a phone # or email addr ? Thanks
  3. Anyone know where to get a good used one? Not the Power Bore, the regular bore. thanks Darth
  4. Nancy Babe, Hey, good to see ya up in the K. Good Banana pictures - but you didn't get my solo ? Only kidding - I was a guest and had my hands full just trying to figure out the #### drill :P C-ya in Rochacha, right ?? Darth Vayda PS> Notice I don't have a list of credits longer then my post !! <**> Hell, I don't have any stinkin' credits - who needs em - just a vain waste of space for the insecure !! PSS> Let's see how many nerves I strike with this one :) (Waitin for someone to throw a drink in my face now up in R-chester) b**bs
  5. John, We didn't forget him - check out post #196. Charlie
  6. except the NY Skyliners Alumni. We'll be in the p-lot behind BHS at 2pm :)
  7. Do not get the Kanstul Powerbore if you have a choice between it ands the regular straight bore. It is not a gimmick - I used to have one but sold in back to the corps. It takes a lot of air, more so than the regular bore. I have been using a Deg which I like, but I've been looking for a K reg bore. I have played both K's and I can play higher on the reg bore. The reg bore is also a little cheaper. Darth Vayda NY SKY alumni
  8. Kevin McDermott (in the red shirt), practicing on the field of Veteran’s Stadium for the Return of the Bridgemen on June 10, 2006. Hey, I know that guy. :P
  9. Jim, I believe you are excited Charlie
  10. The Buccaneers are one of the corps I never seen in my entire drum corps career !!!!!!! Wow, then you are in for a real treat. I remember competing against the 79-80 Buc powerhouse, what a repetoire. I, to this day, love listening to the records, and the flawless brass performance. And to think, Matt K was there !!! Darth
  11. JimmyBo, What a way with words. You have captured the essence of the experience 13 days before hand. I can't wait. Charlie
  12. Yo Randy, Charlie is one busy dude. You got the field corps and the alumni confused. SKY's field corps is working hard to get out towards the end of July and can't do TOS. But, SKY alumni (and me) will be at the TOS. BSGK (and me) will also be at the TOS. If you can put me in the drill in a spot that doesn't move, I'll try to be with you (Bmen) at TOS. Although, I probably won't have any lip left after doing #1 and #2. Darth Vayda
  13. Grass - who's Grass? This is a chock of poop - you know you don't sit next to Grass, Tony does. You and Johnny G stand up in the back and look like your in the Jay Leno band !! b**bs
  14. Wow, such sad news. It does seem like only yesterday we were all practicing together on Randall's Island with Bob H as the director, and Sean in the drum line. My condolences to Bob and Carol and their family. Charlie Vayda
  15. Not to mention, we know you will be staying up until 5am partying with us after the show. and which hotel in Nutley is BSGK (and the party) staying at anyway ? Darth (chew gum) Vader
  16. They were followed by the New York Skyliners Alumni Percussion Duet. These two guys were amazing! It was wild, and I was out of breath just watching it. These guys are great, and I’d appreciate it if someone on DCP could jump in and tell us their names, since I wasn’t taking notes and want to make sure that they get the recognition they so richly deserve. The famous duo is Joe Fontana and Jack Murray from SKY Alumni's 3000lb snare line. Darth Vayda SKY
